We would like to thank the artist and teacher, Maris Platais for giving such a wonderful painting demonstration at the gallery, Sat. January 16th.
A full capacity, standing room only crowd of mostly artists was delighted and watch intently while he paintied from a blank canvas to a completed landscape sketch. Maris also spoke clearly on how and why he was painting the way he was, so everyone was able to understand. Art is a magical thing. To watch a talented artist create something beautiful from nothing is magic.  |
